I am Olga Koelsch!
I am a self-taught watercolor artist and graphic designer, based in Norway. I started in 2016 with a simple watercolor set. A year after starting my journey, I made progress in botanical illustrations and participated in botanical exhibitions in the UK, USA, and Japan.
In 2018 I started to experiment with modern watercolor and transparent techniques. Now I am a full-time artist and run shops on Etsy and Creative Market with my illustrations. Even robes with my floral designs were seen being worn by the cast members of 'The Real Housewives of Miami'!
A year ago I started a YouTube channel to teach my watercolor techniques and it turned into a very supportive community. I am a mom of two kids and always looking for time-saving techniques and ideas. Course Content
The course contains 25 videos, with over 12 hours of lessons, including more than 10 printable watercolor tracing sheets for you to practice!
We'll start from the beginning with a short introduction to watercolor, the tools you need, tips and tricks of transparent technique, how to understand and draw the inner structure of a flower, and how to work with your photo references to emphasize transparency.
We will focus most of our attention on painting actual artworks. The classes are organized from easy to more complex projects, so it will be comfortable for you to master this watercolor technique and, as a result, create a beautiful picture after each lesson!

In this module, I give you an introduction to watercolors and all the tools that you need to get started.
Module 2. Basic Techniques
In this module, I will show you the basic principle of painting in a transparent multilayered technique.
Module 3. Painting Transparent Flowers
In this module, I will show you how to paint specific flowers such as irises, roses, tulips, and many more!
